The Mazzer Mini C Electronic Espresso Coffee Grinder combines professional espresso grinding with a compact footprint.

Mazzer developed the Mini platform for situations where space matters. Therefore, it works particularly well in premium home coffee stations, small cafés and other lower-volume professional environments.

Despite its compact dimensions, the Mini uses commercial-style components and a substantial aluminium body. As a result, you get a grinder that feels considerably more serious than a typical domestic appliance.

64mm Mazzer Flat Burrs

The Mini uses 64mm flat burrs for consistent espresso grinding.

Mazzer manufactures its burrs in-house and fits its 233M bearing-steel burrs to the current Mini platform. These burrs aim for balanced extraction, pleasant acidity and good body. Consequently, they work particularly well with traditional espresso and milk-based drinks.

Furthermore, the 64mm format gives the Mini serious grinding capability despite its relatively small footprint.

Stepless Micrometrical Adjustment

Good espresso requires precise control over grind size. Therefore, the Mini features stepless micrometrical grind adjustment.

Rather than moving between predetermined settings, you can make very small adjustments to the grind.

As a result, dialing in becomes more precise. You can also compensate for changes in beans, age, humidity and espresso recipes without being restricted by fixed steps.

Electronic On-Demand Grinding

The Electronic configuration grinds coffee directly into your portafilter.

This on-demand workflow means you don’t need a traditional ground-coffee doser. Instead, the grinder prepares coffee as you need it.

Programmable single and double timed doses also make daily preparation more convenient. Moreover, the interface allows fine timing adjustments and provides a manual grinding mode when required.

The portafilter can activate the grinder, allowing hands-free grinding. Furthermore, the adjustable portafilter holder helps centre the stream of ground coffee inside the basket.

An antistatic system also helps control coffee dust around the grinder. Meanwhile, the removable chute simplifies routine cleaning.

Compact but Substantial

One of the Mini’s biggest advantages is its size.

The current platform measures approximately 160mm wide and 200mm deep at the body, making it considerably easier to accommodate than many full-size commercial grinders.

However, compact doesn’t mean lightweight construction. Mazzer uses a heavy-duty die-cast aluminium body, while the grinder weighs approximately 8.5kg.

350W Commercial-Style Motor

A 350W asynchronous motor drives the burrs.

On South Africa’s 50Hz electrical supply, the grinder operates at approximately 1,400 RPM.

The current Mini can grind approximately 2–2.5 grams per second, although actual output varies according to the coffee and grind setting.

Therefore, it provides plenty of performance for a premium home espresso station or lower-volume professional environment.

A Mazzer for Home or Light Commercial Use
